This formula contains powerful alkaloids including reserpine, rescessamine, and ajamaline that have been researched to invoke parasympathetic activity in the brain and thereby help calm the mind and body. It is well known that Ghandi drank Rauwolfia tea on a daily basis as a calming agent.
HTN 180 Px contains 12mg of a 4:1 extract of Rauwolfia per serving. In comparison, our Extra Strength formula contains 100 mg per serving of a 10:1 extract of Rauwolfia.
The Viscum in this formula also provides vasoactive amines that support vascular tone and Crataegus has been shown to support the vascular system. This combination of herbs works by a number of different mechanisms to support cardiovascular health.
Caution: This product may potentiate blood pressure lowering medications. Monitor blood pressure while taking this product.
