*Respiratory Px is a formula designed to support normal breathing and airway functions. The primary herb in this formula is Lobelia from Certified Organic herb tops and seeds. Lobelia maintains healthy bronchial functioning. Lobelia also supports healthy leukotriene metabolism, all serving to enhance respiratory and bronchial function.
Hyssopus and Zingiber are complementary herbs in this formula and may both dry excessive mucous and reduce inflammatory processes by a variety of mechanisms. Zingiber can help regulate inflammation by blocking common inflammatory enzyme systems such as the lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase enzymes. These herbs are also high in resins and volatile oils that can help dry excessive mucous as well as help thin and expectorate thick and tenacious respiratory secretions.
