Denis Wilson, MD
Vice President and Co-Founder
Dr. Wilson graduated from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 1985. He specializes in optimizing peripheral thyroid function, body temperature, and well-being. Working with more than 5,000 patients, he developed a new simplified paradigm for thyroid management. The first doctor to use sustained-release liothyronine, he has educated more than 2,500 physicians about its use in patients with symptoms of low thyroid and low body temperature despite having normal blood tests. His novel treatment of using sustained-release T3 is now standard of care with a subsection of physicians practicing complementary and alternative medicine and his work is being taught in naturopathic medical schools. Dr. Wilson is the author of three books, including the extensively referenced Evidence-Based Approach to Restoring Thyroid Health.
Michaël Friedman, ND
President and Co-Founder
A naturopathic physician and medical herbalist, Dr. Friedman graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1998, He was adjunct instructor of endocrinology at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. The original founder and director of the Restorative Medicine Conference, Dr. Friedman is the author of the medical textbook Fundamentals of Naturopathic Endocrinology and co-author of Healing Diabetes, which both describe how to use plants and hormones in the endocrine system. Dr. Friedman has lectured at both conventional and naturopathic medical schools. His medical practice focused on thyroid related disorders and chronic disease. He has designed over 25 formulations currently on the market as dietary supplements.
Paula M. Woods
Finance and Operations Director
Paula joined Restorative Formulations in 2008. She has a B.S. in special education and more than 30 years of finance and accounting experience, including 14 years as the owner/operator of a natural food store. She has held elected positions in several local governmental organizations.
Marketing and Sales Development
Jerilyn joined Restorative Formulations in September 2012. Prior to this she was the Office Manager at Northern Community Investment Corporation. Dance has always been Jerilyn’s passion which led her to study Dance at The Boston Conservatory of Dance, Music and Theater. Jerilyn loves the outdoors when she is not biking, hiking, skiing or kiteboarding she is traveling and exploring.
Logistics Coordinator and Warehouse Manager
Tom has been Warehouse Manager at Restorative Formulations since 2010. Prior to that he was warehouse manager for American Flatbread. Tom studied Environmental Sciences at Wittenberg University in Springfield,OH. When not working he is snowboarding, cross country skiing, mountain bike riding or gardening.
Kirsten joined Restorative Formulations in April 2017. Her experience includes business management, paralegal work, and bookkeeping for small companies. Kirsten’s interests include spending time in the mountains and by the ocean with family and friends.
Lindsay joined Restorative Formulations in 2017, after working as an inside sales manager at Urban Moonshine. She has a B.S. degree in environmental science from UNC Asheville. Her interests include yoga, botanical gardens, and herbal medicine.
Erin K. O’Hara
Erin has been associated with Restorative Formulations since April 2007. Previously, he was a community herbalist in Rochester, NY. He received his training at the Northeast School of Botanical Medicine, The Ayurvedic Institute. Erin’s interests include creating beautiful and ecologically useful gardens with native plants and herbs.
Customer Accounts Manager
Teresa joined Restorative Formulations in March 2015, after previously working in customer service at Verilux. She holds bachelor of arts degree from Goddard College, where she studied art and education. Her interests include rock climbing, hiking, photography, fire dancing, drawing, writing lyrics and singing. Teresa is also involved with the LGBTQ+ community.
