Formulation Features
ThyroCare is designed to provide adjunctive herbal and nutritional support for the thyroid gland. It is useful for maintaining healthy thyroid function and body temperature. ThyroCare is recommended in place of Thyroid Px for people who are sensitive to high levels of iodine, or cannot tolerate additional zinc.
Iodine and iodide are crucial for T4 to T3 conversion and are essential substrates for synthesis and thyroid cell membrane lipids. The selenomethionine in ThyroCare is yeast-free, unlike other forms of selenium. It is incorporated into a number of selenoproteins required for T4 conversion.
Rarely found in dietary supplements due to sourcing challenges, certified organic blue flag root has a history of traditional use to support thyroid function and natural liver detoxification processes.
